Bowling Green Weekend Weather = Awesome

Today – Sunny – High 68° / Tonight – Clear – Low 44°

If you hate sunny skies and high temperatures near 70, then today is not your day. For everyone else this might be as close to weather perfection as it gets. As much as I would like to claim responsibility for this weather, I have to give all the credit to the high pressure parked over the Ohio Valley.

Sunday – Mostly Sunny – High 78° / Sun Night – Scattered Showers – Low 60°

Thunderstorms were in the forecast almost every day last week. Some people probably forgot what it’s like to walk outside without an umbrella, especially areas north of Bowling Green where they received 4 – 8 inches of rain over a 7 day period. The map below shows the total rainfall over the past two weeks with most coming within the last 8 days.

Well for the second day in a row, no umbrella will be needed! Another great day to get outdoors and bask in the greatness of beautiful Spring weather. However, clouds and showers return late Sunday into Monday.

Monday – Showers – High 72° / Mon Night – Showers – Low 50°

The all too familiar forecast of rain creeps back into the picture early Monday and lasts through Monday night. At least the temperature will be in the 70’s.
