Good morning, friends. I hope your weekend is off to a great start. After a soggy Friday, we will see sunny skies in the near future.
Saturday
The low pressure system that brought pesky rain showers throughout the day yesterday is finally moving out of our region today. High temperatures for today will be in the upper 50’s.
Since we are now on the back side of the low pressure, winds will be out of the west today at 5-10mph. Sky cover will slowly clear by the evening hours, but will still be a nice day for the WKU Homecoming football game. Low temperatures for tonight will drop into the low 40’s.
Sunday
Another low pressure system will be moving across Indiana and Ohio, and looks to keep rain chances more to the northern portion of Kentucky. Tomorrow will be mostly sunny, with high temperatures reaching the upper 60’s.
It will be quite breezy tomorrow, with winds out of the southwest 10-15mph, with gusts up to 30 mph possible in the afternoon hours. Make sure to hold on to your hats!
Sunday night will be mostly clear, with temperatures dropping into the low 40’s once again. Winds will become more calm over night as well.
Monday
While Monday’s may not be the best, the weather for the start of the week looks great. High pressure will be moving directly over our area, which will bring beautiful blue skies and calm winds.
You can expect mostly sunny skies with high temperatures look to only get up to the low 60’s. A jacket is a good idea when leaving home in the morning. Monday night will be clear as well, with low temperatures in the low 40’s.
That wraps up today’s forecast. Hope you have a sweet Saturday! Make sure to check back here tomorrow and follow @wxornotBG on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram!
