Good morning, y’all! Today’s weather and this weekend are going to look a lot different than what we saw yesterday. As a reinforcing cold front moves through the area, temperatures this morning will continue to drop into the 40’s, recovering only slightly throughout the day. Rain looks to move in from the west this morning, but will taper off by early afternoon. Along with the cooler temperatures and rain, it will also be very windy today due to a strong pressure gradient. Once the rain tapers off by this afternoon, we’ll be left with partly cloudy skies across the area.

Friday will be much nicer than today with high pressure beginning to build into the region. Highs will be in the upper 50’s under sunny skies with a light wind. Friday night and into Saturday morning, there is potential for frost, as low temperatures will dip into the 30’s overnight.

Other than some patchy frost Saturday morning, our weekend looks nice and quiet across the region. Highs will take a big leap into the mid 60’s under sunny skies. Saturday night will be clear with lows reaching into the upper 40’s.
