Real-time Bowling Green Weather Radar:
Yesterday’s Weather
I don’t know about y’all, but I absolutely love this cooler weather! In fact, if you see me out today, I may or may not be wearing my Christmas sweatshirt (definitely will be wearing it)! Anyways, yesterday Bowling Green had a high of 82 degrees which is just silly because today our highs will be in the 60’s! Hey, I say bring it on!

There is an anomalously deep upper-level low spinning right over the Kentucky. It looks to stay looming over us until about Saturday.
NAM 500 mb Heights and Winds, Valid Today 1 PM
From now until Saturday when this upper-level low begins moving out, we will see scattered showers and thunderstorms and lower temperatures. During the day, if we can get some breaks in the clouds, then we might a have a decent chance at some thunderstorms. For the most part, however, it’s going to be cloudy, rainy, and cool over the next few days.
NAM 4km Simulated Reflectivity, Valid Today at 5 PM
NAM 4km Simulated Reflectivity, Valid Tomorrow at 7 AM
As far as temperatures go, today looks to be the coolest of the forecast period, with highs in the low to mid 60’s. Temperatures look to gradually increase over the next few days with highs tomorrow in the upper 60’s and highs Saturday in the low 70’s. Still, these temperatures are so much better than the 90 degree days we saw last week!
Extended Outlook
On Saturday/Sunday, this closed low will start to lift out of the region. There looks to be another low pressure system developing to our west which could make its way into our region by the end of next week. From about Sunday onward, the models get a little messy, so make sure to check the blog with updated weather information.
