More Cloudy and Rainy Bowling Green Weather

Real-time Bowling Green Weather Radar

Yesterday’s Weather

Yesterday was the kind of fall-like day I love. Kind of chilly, overcast, always with the threat of rain but that never actually happening. We stayed cool. to almost downright chilly (especially if you’re like yours truly and forgot to grab a sweatshirt). Bowling Green’s bucket remained empty as the bulk of the precipitation stayed to the north and northeast of our area.

Forecast Discussion

Consistency! Makes my job here a heck of a lot easier! Right now, we’ve still got this huge upper-level cutoff low spinning over our heads and giving us some weather headaches (and maybe some actual headaches too).

And it’s gonna continue churning above us for at least the next couple of days, continuing to give us shower and storm chances in that timeframe while mostly socking us in with cloud cover to keep our temperatures in check (read: fall-like).

These pleasant temperatures continue into the upcoming weekend and it won’t be that bad to be outdoors if you can manage to dodge the showers this low is going to continue to lob at us. These shower chances are going to come in waves as these disturbances kick of precipitation almost in a spoke-like pattern.

However, this cutoff low looks to finally give us a break coming up on Sunday, reducing our shower chances and giving us an extended look at the sun which we haven’t had in…oh *checks watch* well, a few days anyway.

That’ll allow the temperatures to come a bit closer to where they were back on Monday, recovering comfortably into the mid to upper 70s. Not bad at all.

Extended Outlook

After we get this cut-off low out of here, we’ll quiet down a bit before it looks like another trough may work into the area later next week, giving us renewed chances at chillier weather and possibly even some more rain.
