A Category 3 typhoon in the western Pacific ocean has an eye that is 70 miles wide, and it is absolutely incredible looking! A hurricane researcher at Colorado State University said that anything under the eye would have 7-8 hours of calm weather before getting hit by the eyewall. Check out all the awesome pictures below!
