A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for Butler County, along with numerous counties outside of our coverage area, until 4AM CDT. Thunderstorms are expected to roll southeast across the area over the upcoming hours.  The highest threat for severe storms will be between 11PM and 4AM.

Damaging winds and flash flooding are the main threats, with large hail and an isolated tornado also possible. Some wind gusts could be in excess of 60-70 mph.
