We chased in southwest Texas once again today and the ingredients for severe weather were much better than yesterday. We started our day in Fort Stockton, Texas and as storms fired along a boundary this afternoon we raced northeast to the town of Big Lake where we chased a beautiful supercell producing large hail.
This storm started to diminish and track over an area with a limited road network, so we hopped on another supercell which we ended up chasing for the next several hours. This was a large storm also producing large hail and even a brief funnel cloud.
