As of 10 AM CDT, Amanda had maximum sustained winds of 75 mph and was located 645 miles southwest of Manzanillo, Mexico. Amanda is moving slowly to the west-northwest around 5 mph. Amanda is expected to strengthen into a major hurricane over the coming days.
