Thursday Afternoon Update

This Afternoon – Partly Cloudy, Iso’d Shower – High 50 / Tonight – Clear & COLD – Low 25

4pm 50 ~ 7pm 40 ~ 10pm 33 ~ 1am 28 ~ 4am 27

Forecast is on point, and it will remain that way through the weekend. Partly cloudy skies have accompanied a few isolated sprinkles today, and this will be the story through the remainder of this afternoon.

As we get into the evening and overnight, skies will clear, allowing for temperatures to plummet all the way into the 20s. We can thank Canadian high pressure moving in for these frigid conditions. Keep in mind, we will be under a Freeze Warning from 1am – 9am Friday morning, bringing an end to the mowing season. Lets lawn care takers take a moment to celebrate…

Fri – Partly Sunny – High 48 / Fri Night – Clear – Low 30

7am 30 ~ 10am 40 ~ 1pm 47 ~ 4pm 49 ~ 7pm 41

Partly to mostly sunny skies will be the story, as our pattern finally shows signs of becoming somewhat quiet and subtle.  Temps will remain chilly, however, as we remain stuck in northerly flow throughout our atmosphere.  Overnight, lows will once again flirt below freezing.  Rinse & Repeat, plant lovers…you know the drill by now.

Sat – Partly Sunny – High 56 / Sat Night – Partly Cloudy – Low 37

7am 32 ~ 10am 43 ~ 1pm 52 ~ 4pm 53 ~ 7pm 42

Morning frost will make way to partly sunny skies, with temperature values being once again limited to the mid – upper 50s, as high pressure takes over the weather headlines It will be a very nice, cool day on the hill for all of those attending homecoming. A wardrobe of long sleeves and pants will be in everyones best interest, regardless of what you’re doing outdoors.

That’s it for now, gang. I’ll be back tomorrow with a fresh forecast. Until that time comes, enjoy what’s left of your Thursday, and keep warm! Thanks for reading.
