Chilly Weather This Coming Week

It’s been a rather hectic weekend, friends, and I apologize for not having a post up yesterday or today.  I am finishing up moving into my first home and am currently in Louisville, about to bring another load back to  the western side of the state.  With that being said, this will be a quick update, however, regular posting will resume tomorrow.

Mon – Increasing Clouds – High 70 / Mon Night – Scat’d Showers – Low 41

Cold front will approach from our west, causing cloud coverage to increase across the region.  If the system speeds up (unlikely) we could see a few stray showers arrive as early as tomorrow afternoon/evening.

Tues – Iso’d Showers, Gradual Clearing – High 60 / Tues Night – Scat’d Showers – Low 37

We should see partly to mostly sunny skies at least for a short time throughout our Tuesday, as we get a brief lull in activity.  As we get into nightfall, a reinforcing cold front will pass across the region, reintroducing scattered showers to the forecast.

Wed – Sunny & MUCH Cooler – High 49 / Wed Night – Clear – Low 34

A much cooler, drier airmass will work over south central Kentucky behind the cold front, giving us our coldest temps we’ve experienced in quite some time.  Overnight lows through the end of the work week will flirt with the freezing threshold of 32 degrees.  Frost is expected, and we could potentially even see a few hard freezes.  Plant lovers…take note!

That’s it for now, gang.  I’ll be back tomorrow morning bright and early with a fresh forecast.  Have a great night, and enjoy tomorrow, before the “BIG CHILL” hits.
