Today – Scattered AM Showers, Stay Storm – High 75 / Tonight – Gradual Clearing – Low 57
7am 63 {} 10am 70 {} 12pm 73 {} 4pm 75
Shortwave aloft in the atmosphere will coincide with moisture streaming over us from the Gulf to keep scattered showers and a stray rumble of thunder in the forecast for our HuMp DaY. Severe weather will be of no concern, however, measurable precip will be possible. Several locations received accumulating rainfall last night. Tonight, expect clearing, as an upper ridge begins to take over.
Thu – Mostly Sunny & Nice – High 79 / Thu Night – Clear – Low 57
7am 59 {} 10am 71 {} 12pm 76 {} 4pm 80
Upper ridge will have full control over the region. Expect sunny skies with not much going on. Ridge can be viewed on model below, which is valid for 1pm Thursday afternoon:
Fri & Sat – Partly to Mostly Sunny, Quiet – High 80 / Fri & Sat Night – Clear – Low 60
Ridge will maintain control through this time frame, keeping conditions nice and subtle. High school football games will have MUCH improved conditions from last week. Our next rain chance doesn’t look to arrive until Sunday, when a cold front attempts to make its way across the region.
That’s it for now. I’ll be back again this afternoon with a fresh look at the forecast. Have a great one, gang!
