Good morning, everyone! We’ve definitely had our fair share of winter weather so far this season and normally, headed into the second week of February, this theme would continue to ring true. However, WABBLES is looking at a quiet and mild week ahead to offer a break from the cold and harshness of winter.

Mostly Cloudy Monday
Starting out today, most folks around the region will be under partly to mostly clouds skies. As the day progresses though, these clouds will begin to move out revealing sunshine for the afternoon and evening. We have high pressure that will largely be dominating the area which will be the mechanism responsible for wonderful weather the rest of the week! Yep, you heard that right. No wintry systems are on the horizon for the time being.

The high today is expected to barely break 40 degrees reaching around 41. Calm winds out of the west are expected with a low temperature in the low 20s. We stay mostly clear overnight.
Trend for the Rest of the Week
The high pressure mentioned above will continue to influence the weather for the remainder of the week and into the weekend. Beginning Tuesday, temperatures are expected to be driven into the 50’s thanks to the passage of a warm front! This is slightly above the average for this time of year and will be a nice break from the frigid temperatures of recent. Thursday we take a slight dip back into the 40’s before topping out in the mid-50’s on Friday.

On top of the mild temperatures, we will stay completely dry this week with an abundance of sunshine to go around. These trends will even continue into the weekend and for your Super Bowl Sunday. If you have plans to host or attend a watch party, travel conditions should be just fine as clear weather with a high of 40 is expected.
That’s about all for today folks; it’s an easy forecast! Thanks for reading and be sure to follow us on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook, @wxornotBG, for live weather updates. Have a great week!
