Good morning, everyone! Yesterday was not the ideal way I’m sure many of us preferred to start off the week. It was quite the gloomy Monday, but I have some good news to make up for that. As the stationary front continues to lift out of the region, gradual clearing today brings pleasant conditions back into the forecast.
Transitioning Into Brighter, Better Weather
Today will very much so be considered a “transition day” in my book as we let go of not so great weather to bring in great weather. With that being said, clouds will stick around until around lunch time today. This will allow rain chances to stay in the ballgame as well.
Any rain we get today, however, will be light, quick moving, and scattered. By lunchtime, expect the clouds to have cleared and bring about partly to mostly sunny skies for the rest of the day. Wahoo! The sun will help to bring our high temperature to a mild 76 degrees.
Overnight, expect the clear conditions to continue as the low only drops to about 57 degrees.
One Last Taste of Summer?
For your day on Wednesday, plenty of sunshine will dominate thanks to high pressure. Things will be quiet and the mercury will rise to around 82 degrees. (I thought summer already left??)
Overnight, conditions will once again be clear with a low of 62–very mild for this time of the year.
Thursday will be a carbon copy of Wednesday and that is all I will say on that matter.
For Friday though, the story changes once more. A cold front will near the region and out ahead of it bring rain and maybe even thunderstorms back into the forecast.
That wraps up today’s post! Thanks for reading. Be sure to follow us on on twitter for live weather updates, @wxornotBG, and on other social media platforms. Have a great week!
