Good morning, folks and happy Monday!! Once again, the heat sticks around with the new work week coming hot!!

Monday
The summer-like pattern that we have been experiencing will continue to start the new work week. An area of high pressure that has been dominating the southeastern part of the US will continue to hold its grip across the region.

The heat will continue to surge in from the south thanks to a dome of high pressure located throughout all levels of the atmosphere. Temperatures today will rise into the upper 80s with nothing but sunny skies. Heading into the evening and overnight hours, temperatures don’t back off much, bottoming out in the upper 60s.
Tuesday
High pressure continues to build overhead heading into Tuesday, meaning more heat! Temperatures will top out in the middle-to-upper 90s, I repeat, middle-to-upper 90s!! Yes, believe or not, we are still in the month of September and not in July.

Again, temperatures during the overnight and evening hours will hover around the 70-degree mark.
Wednesday & Thursday
I’m sorry folks, I’m beginning to sound like a broken record! Temperatures on Wednesday and Thursday will again, rise into the middle 90s with nothing but sunny skies! With this stretch of oppressive heat, please limit your outdoor activities and if you have to be outside, DRINK PLENTY OF WATER AND STAY HYDRATED!!
