As your waking up this morning, temperatures remain cool sitting in the low to mid fifties. So if your have any early morning plans, a light jacket isn’t a bad idea.

Expect our temperatures to climb throughout today but remaining very comfortable with cool winds coming in from the northeast. Essentially, today will be a carbon copy of yesterday’s awesomeness.

For much of the day tomorrow, we expect South Central Kentucky to remain cool and dry with highs only in the low 70s! However, heading into Monday night things will definitely begin to change as the remnants of Hurricane Irma work their way inland from Florida.

Above you’ll find the latest forecast track from the National Hurricane Center that shows the significantly weaker center of the remnants pushing into South Central Kentucky in the early morning hours of Wednesday. However, we will begin to see the outer bands of rain from this storm by Monday evening. The good news is, we won’t see nearly as much rain as what we saw with Harvey. However, do expect soggy and gusty conditions for a few days this week as the remnants of Irma take their time leaving.
