Today 4/1 – Sunny – High 68/Tonight – Mostly cloudy – Low 44
Good Morning, Bowling Green and happy first day of April! It’s going to be a terrible day today with cold temperatures, lots of rain, and gusty winds. April Fools! Bad jokes aside, today is actually going to be pretty nice. Since the frontal passage yesterday, temperatures have dropped slightly but will still make it into the upper 60s today.
An upper-level trough will continue to swing through the eastern US today and tomorrow but temperatures won’t take a huge dip until Saturday afternoon once winds shift more northerly. Expect clear skies and pleasant weather all weekend!
Saturday 4/2 – Sunny – High 58/ Saturday Night – Clear (frost possible) – Low 32
Saturday will be a little chillier with highs only making it into the upper 50s. Winds will remain out of the west for most of the day, but a weak cold front passing to the north will cause winds to become more northerly in the evening hours.
Much cooler temperatures will filter in Saturday night and frost could be possible early Sunday morning as lows drop close to freezing. High pressure will start to move in for the remainder of the weekend.
Sunday 4/3 – Sunny – High 60/Sunday Night – Clear – Low 45
Sunny weather will continue for Sunday as high pressure settles over most of the southeastern US. Winds will become more southerly during the day increasing temperatures slightly. Monday brings more chances for rain so enjoy the beautiful weather while it lasts!
Have a great weekend and continue to follow @WxOrNotBG for more updates!
