Real-time Bowling Green weather radar:
Good afternoon, Bowling Green! Here is an update regarding the severe weather potential this afternoon through tonight.
via SPC
The Storm Prediction Center (SPC) has moved our area from an Enhanced risk back to a Slight risk. This means that the probability of tornadoes occurring tonight in our area has decreased; however, I can’t rule out tornadic activity completely. Still, the main threats associated with this system are large hail, damaging winds, and heavy rain.
via NWS Louisville
There still remains enough instability and decent shear to promote severe thunderstorm activity, specifically hail and damaging winds. Later tonight, a second wave along the front will come through with two main lines. One set of storms looks to lift out of Tennessee and graze a portion of south-central Kentucky. The other set of storms looks to impact mainly the northern portion of Kentucky. There is a chance that part of central Kentucky could be between these two lines and not be affected by them. The rain looks then to diminish around midnight.
