Easter Sunday Forecast

Real-time Bowling Green weather radar:

Today – Chance Thunderstorms – High 75˚ / Tonight – Thunderstorms – Low 45˚

Howdy, Bowling Green! What amazing weather we had yesterday! Unfortunately, Easter Sunday just is not going to be as nice as Saturday.

A low pressure system will move through the area, bringing rain showers and thunderstorms. The Storm Prediction Center (SPC) has put our area under a Marginal Risk for severe weather today with hail and damaging winds as the main threat. It looks like we will remain relatively dry during the morning hours with only isolated rain showers and thunderstorms possible. As the day progresses and heating occurs, the greatest chance for severe storms will be during the evening hours.

For tonight, expect rain showers and potentially severe thunderstorms with the bulk of these thunderstorms occurring around sunset. The weather models suggest these storms will form into an organized line of thunderstorms, with damaging winds and hail being the main threats. Since the timing of these storms will be during the evening, please be weather aware. Stay updated with the blog, twitter, and your local tv meteorologists.
