On to the weather. After the passage of last night’s cold front, high pressure is settling back into the region. This will lead to diminishing moisture. Thus, a very nice day is on tap. Partly cloudy skies should be expected. Cloud cover should continue to diminish during the afternoon and evening hours. Highs should top out around 58°.
Mostly clear skies tonight will allow temperatures to approach freezing. This may lead to some development of patchy frost across the region.
Tuesday 3/29 – Mostly Sunny – High 63° / Tues Night – Clear – Low 40°
A ridge will move into the region on Tuesday. This will keep our weather nice and fair. Low moisture content in the atmosphere will lead to mostly sunny skies across the region. Southerly winds will help push temperatures into the 60s, as we’ll likely see a high around 63°.
Tuesday night will bring clear skies to the region. Lows will be right around 40°.
Wednesday 3/30 – Partly Cloudy – High 73° / Wed Night – Showers – Low 57°
A longwave trough will slowly work its way closer to the region on Wednesday. This will bring much warmer temperatures to the region due to southwest flow aloft, as well as southerly flow at the surface. This will also introduce more moisture to the region, leading to the development of a few afternoon clouds. Highs will be in the low to mid 70s.
Scattered showers will develop during the evening hours as moisture continues to spread northeastward. Lows will be in the upper 50s.
