Coolerish Bowling Green Weather In Store

Real-time BG Radar:

Today: Partly cloudy and a bit cooler. High around 87ºF. Tonight: Cooling down, with a stray shower chance. Low of 66ºF.

Maaaaan, today should be pretty great. Considering how hot it has been the past week, it’ll be relief at the least. A cold front will be moving through overnight, sparking some showers and storms across the region last night. This will usher in a shower of cooler air that we’ll feel today, but definitely feel tomorrow.

Highs look to reach the mid and upper 80s, so I know you may not consider that a cool down. But hey, its better than 93ºF, right?

Watch out for an isolated shower towards the evening hours, but I don’t think the odds are very high of that. Overnight, look for temps to fall into the mid 60s, which will be pleasant to head to work to on Wednesday morning!

Wednesday: Mostly cloudy, with an isolated shower chance towards dark. High of 84ºF. Wed. night: Partly cloudy, with some increasing clouds towards daybreak. Low of 65ºF.

Well, Wednesday isn’t looking as nice as I once thought it was. It looks as if a small disturbance in the atmosphere is gonna roll eastward in the flow, and will be enough to spark mostly cloudy skies.

Temps will stay cooler in the low to mid 80s across the region, giving us a nice temperature break. This disturbance may be enough to spark some showers as we head into the afternoon and evening hours.

Overnight, look for that threat to quickly move off to the east. This will give way to partly cloudy skies, and a low of around 65ºF.

Thursday: Mostly cloudy, with showers possible. High of 82ºF. Thur. night: Showers moving out. Mostly cloudy, with a low of 66ºF.

Thursday is a bit of a major toss up in terms of what is going to happen. The models have a bit of a spread, but it looks like a disturbance is gonna ride on through, and give us cloudy skies and a chance at showers.

This will keep temps lower, which would be super nice. Highs would likely end up in the lower 80s, which sounds awesome for this time of year. Stay tuned, because that forecast may change. Going into the overnight hours, the threats look similar. Clouds hang tough, and we’ll have lows in the mid to upper 60s.
