Good Sunday morning, Bowling Green! A few more nice days are in store before the next major system brings rain to our area mid-week. After a cold front moved through last night, high pressure will keep the area dry while winds from the northeast drop temperatures just a few degrees cooler than yesterday.
A system bringing precipitation to our south will cause clouds to infiltrate the region, which will stick around for the majority of the day. Temperatures are expected to reach the low 60s during the day, and drop to around 40° overnight. As the southern system moves eastward, clouds will quickly clear overnight.
Monday, 3/23 – Mostly Sunny & Pleasant – High 64˚ / Monday Night – Partly Cloudy – Low 45˚
Monday will bring pleasant, spring weather to the area as temperatures hit the low to mid-60s once again under mostly sunny skies. Nothing too exciting to report weather-wise, but no complaints here!
With the next approaching system, temperatures Monday night will stay in the low-40s as skies remain partly cloudy.
Tuesday, 3/24 – Partly Sunny – High 69˚ / Tuesday Night – Mostly Cloudy; Chance of Showers – Low 55˚
Temperatures will ramp up Tuesday, as winds from the south dominate ahead of the approaching low pressure system. A mix of clouds and sun are expected during the day as highs hit close to 70°. It will be quite breezy as we fall into the warm sector of this system.
Precipitation will begin after midnight on Tuesday, with the possibility of thunderstorms coming into play on Wednesday. Strong southerly flow will keep temperatures abnormally mild for this time of year with lows in the mid-50s overnight.
