Narrative: The tornado touched down near US-62 southwest of
Cynthiana, KY. Two small outbuildings and a barn were destroyed near
the beginning of the path. Eyewitnesses reported two narrow tornados
touched down at the same time. The tornado moved east causing
extensive tree damage near US-27. Damage was greatest at this
location with wind speeds estimated at 110 mph. The tornado then
continued east where it caused some more tree damage before lifting
just east of New Lair Road.
