Bowling Green Weather: Much Cooler

Rain & storms impacting the area early this morning will push out by early afternoon, as one beast of a cold front swings through. Additional shower development is possible this evening along the frontal passage.  Expect swift winds to howl at 15-20mph today.  Friday night lights your plan this evening?  I’ve got two words…Bundle up.

Temperatures will crash following the passing of the front.  It will be rather chilly to say the least! I’m talking a temperature drop of nearly 30 degrees by early Saturday morning.

Sat 10/4 – Sunny & Blustery – High 58˚ / Sat Night – Clear & COLD – Low 38˚

 

We’ll be going from one extreme with above average temperatures this past week to well below average temps in the matter of 36  hours.  Check out what the NAM is thinking for highs on Saturday afternoon:

In other words…don’t let that sunshine deceive you.  Highs look to be limited to the upper 50s.

The WKU game will be a chilly one Saturday night. Make sure to bundle up tight as temperatures in the upper 40s during the game and breezy conditions (northwest winds at ~20-25+mph) will make for a WINTER-like feel.  Overnight lows are expected to plummet into the upper 30s! This is our first real taste of fall, folks.

Sunday – Mostly Sunny, Cool – High 62º / Sun Night – Slight Chance for Showers – Low 49º

Sunday will be sunny and less wind and slightly warmer temperatures will make the day feel oh-so-much nicer. High temperatures will likely top out in the low 60’s across south central Kentucky. Yee-haw for Fall yall.
