If you were up early this morning you know it was pretty chilly as low temperatures across southern Kentucky were in the upper 40s. Temperatures were running around 10 degrees below normal; the average low temperature for this date in Bowling Green is 59°. Our official low temperature at the Bowling Green Airport was 49°. Temperatures were a little cooler at both of the Warren County Mesonet sites where they saw lows of 47° and 48°.
It was a very cool night elsewhere across the state as well, only eight of the Kentucky Mesonet sites failed to drop below 50°. The lowest reading in the state was 41° in Harrison County.
