Showers Tonight, Cooler Tomorrow

Today 3/22 – Mostly Sunny – High 61˚ / Tonight – Scat’d Showers – Low 35˚

9am 50˚ ~ 12pm 58˚ ~ 3pm 61˚ ~ 6pm 53˚ ~ 9pm 46˚

After a marvelous day yesterday with sunny skies & temps rising to or near 70 a cold front passed through overnight which will unfortunately take temperatures down notch today. Still should be nice though with highs climbing into the low 60s under mostly sunny skies.

Tonight a weak disturbance will be approaching from the west which will likely spark off light scattered showers across the area. I’m not expecting anything too much with rainfall totals generally less than 0.25″. Highest totals will likely be along the TN border.

The colder air will really be filtering in overnight as well with lows in the mid 30s expected by Sunday morning. There could even be some mix with or a brief change over to light snow in a few locations. I think this possibility will be low and if it does occur there should be no accumulation or impacts.

Sun – Mostly Sunny, Cool – High 49˚ / Sun Night – Clear and Cold – Low 26˚

A few clouds will try to hang around early with a sprinkle or flurry possible. Skies should be mostly sunny by noon but that colder air will be fully settled in and thus allowing temperatures only to warm to the upper 40s to near 50. Overnight temperatures will make a return to the mid 20s under clear skies as high pressure dominates.

Somebody get a warm fire going!

Mon – Mostly Sunny – High 50˚ / Mon Night – Iso’d Rain & Snow Showers – Low 30˚

The weather should start off fairly nice on Monday despite a cold start. Skies will be mostly sunny which should allow temperatures to at least warm to near 50. Clouds will begin to increase by the late afternoon as another small disturbance heads our way.

Monday night’s disturbance will be a clipper system much like we had all winter. This could bring some light precipitation to the area but right now I think the bulk of the precip should be to our north.

With the temperatures getting chilly once again some areas stand the chance at seeing light sno… I couldn’t bring myself to say it again. Shouldn’t be anything to worry about though.

It’s spring now right? …RIGHT?
