A Weekend of Isolated Showers to Come

Happy weekend, everyone! If you are planning to attend a game hosted by SKY Soccer today, we hope that the forecast won’t dampen your mood too much. In short, we have a gloomy day ahead with a chance for a stray shower or two. As always, we wish the best of luck to all of the teams!

Today

For the entirety of the day, chances of showers will stick around in the forecast. This morning, showers will move into the region, remaining scattered. After noon, and for the rest of the day, these will become isolated.

As for precipitation totals, we aren’t expecting for these to produce any more than a tenth of an inch of rainfall. This will be due to the nature of these showers, as they will be brief and produce light amounts of rainfall as they pass through.

Because of this, we have a rather cloudy day ahead of us. We may have pockets of sunlight show up every now and then, but that’s about it. If you are out and about, or at a soccer game, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to have a light jacket handy.

Today, there won’t be much variation in temperatures. By morning, temperatures will be cool, in the lower 50’s. In the afternoon, we will have our high in the lower 60’s, then cool back down to the lower 50’s by nightfall.

Tomorrow

Tomorrow, the forecast is about the same, though there is a slight chance for thunderstorms. As of now, these are not expected to become severe. Once again, these will remain isolated throughout the day.

In the evening, the rain looks to become more consistent and carry on overnight. At most, we may see up to three tenths of an inch of rainfall.
