Seasonal Week Ahead

Good morning and happy Monday! Hope you all had a great weekend. Rain and mild temperatures will make for a seasonal week ahead.

Currently…

Temperatures are in the high-40s with wet road conditions for this morning’s commute.

Rainy Monday

A cold front extending from a low-pressure system over the Midwest will be moving through the area this morning. Today will be a cloudy day with chances of rain this morning into the afternoon. Temperatures will rise into the high-50s and winds will gradually become stronger throughout the day; gusts of 22 mph are expected around this evening.

Clear on Tuesday

The sky will be clearing up tomorrow as a high-pressure system will be moving into the area. The winds will be coming from the north which will help dry things up for today. Temperatures will increase into the low-50s for the day then drop into the mid-30s overnight.

Frosty Start to Wednesday

Frost is expected Wednesday morning, however, temperatures are going to heat up into the mid-60s. The sky will remain clear and sunny and 5 knot winds will be coming out of the south. The lowest temperature will be in the low-40s by Wednesday night.

Warm on Thursday and Friday

Those southern winds will be drawing some warmth in for the end of our work week. Temperatures will increase into the low-70s. Thursday will be clear and sunny, however, clouds will be moving in by Friday. Low temperatures in the low-50s.

Rain over the Weekend

A cold front will be moving into the region, which will be creating rain chances for South-central Kentucky on Saturday. High temperatures will be in the low-50s and and low temperatures in the high-30s.
