Once we get these pesky showers out of here this morning, we have quite the day on tap as the clouds will be on the decrease and that means we’ll be drying out for Saturday before showers return late Sunday.
Clouds Decreasing, Temperatures Increasing
Yes, that’s right. We’re not finished with the comparatively mild temperatures yet as we’ll see sunshine break out this afternoon (aided by southerly winds) and those get us into comfortable territory during the afternoon hours.
This afternoon’s sunshine should get us to around 62º for a high temperature. Not too shabby. Lows at night shouldn’t get too cold since we’ll have a few clouds around to trap some heat. We should drop to around 45º.
A Changeable Sunday
As mentioned here yesterday, you might recognize the weather tomorrow as quite similar to day…albeit a bit warmer. Not that I’m complaining.
We’ll be under the influence of our next weathermaker, one that promises to provide change to close out the weekend. A warm front will increase our southwesterly breezes and get us to a high near 70º (yes, 70º!) as clouds stream in ahead of those pesky showers.
As we head into the evening and overnight hours, a cold front will begin to sweep through the region, triggering a few showers along with it. Temperatures will tumble behind the because of stout northwesterly breezes, with lows falling to about 35º. That means we can’t rule out a couple of flurries mixed, but those should be few and far between and shouldn’t cause many problems.
Clearing and Cold for Monday
The good news: sunshine to start the week. Bad news: chilly weather makes a return.
Northwesterly winds will drag in much cooler air as we only top out near 40º for Monday as advancing high pressure keeps us dry for much of the beginning of the workweek. Clear skies overnight will help with radiative cooling and drop us to about 23º for a low. Uh. Brr.
