We currently have a strong low-pressure system to our west. A cold front extending from the Low will be making its way into our area the next couple days. Due to the lift from the cold front, rain and thunderstorm chances will be high for today. The high temperature will increase into the mid-80s and winds will range 5 – 10 mph. Tonight, temperatures will decrease into the low-70s. As heat index values reach into the mid to high-90s, we have a pretty hot and rainy start to the week

Tuesday

The wet and rainy trend will continue into Tuesday. Thunderstorm chances will remain throughout the entire day as temperatures increase into the 80s and then it will decrease into the mid-60s for the night. Winds will be stronger as the cold front moves closer.

Wednesday

A high-pressure system will be making its way into the area, which will allow us to have a little break from the stormy weather. Temperatures will be more comfortable with a high around 80° and dew points in the 60s. Conditions will be dry and sunny this Wednesday; in other words, it is going to be a beautiful day. Wednesday night will be a cooler night than we’re used to with a low temperature in the high-60s.
