A low-pressure system will be to our east, meaning northeasterly winds. Today will be cloudy for the most part. Thunderstorm chances will increase into the evening as the high temperature reaches the 80° mark. The storm chances will decrease tonight and temperatures will drop to the high-60s.

Showers and Maybe a Storm

Showers may start out Tuesday for south-central Kentucky. Clouds will cover the sky as temperatures increase into the mid-80s. The winds are expected to calm down as the night approaches. Later tomorrow night, a thunderstorm may roll on through the area. The low temperature will drop into the high-60s.

Storms to Begin and Showers to End

After all of the showers in the beginning of this week, we will have heat and sunshine take over by Wednesday through Friday. Humidity will kick up a notch as higher pressure sets in. Overall, not too bad of a week for the summer. Make sure to stay cool and enjoy the sunshine while you can.
