Excellent Weather Today

Good morning, a great day awaits!  With temperatures above freezing, we will not even have to scrape frost from our windshields this morning.  Behind a light southwest breeze, highs will reach the high-60’s today with no chance of rain setting us up for excellent weather today, rain late tomorrow.

We are under the influence of high pressure system to our south providing us quiet and warmer weather.  The winds will even be light at around 10 mph, so I would consider today a weather slam dunk.  With foul weather arriving tomorrow, you may want to enjoy some time outdoors today if you can tear yourself away from watching March Madness.

Rain Late Tomorrow

With a cold front approaching, expect morning cloudy skies to become scattered showers on Friday afternoon.  By tomorrow evening the hardest rain bands will blow through and may include some thunder, but no severe weather is expected.  As for the temperatures, after only dropping to a low of around 40 overnight, highs on Friday will top out in the mid-50s.

Rebound Saturday

Rain showers may linger into Saturday morning with a low in the upper 40’s.  Later in the day the weather will rebound with the rain clearing out and highs reaching the upper 60’s, as high pressure once again moves in.  This pattern of dry warm weather looks to continue into Sunday saving this weekend from being a total washout with only a quarter inch of rain expected through Sunday.
