Cold Today; Nice to End Week

Lingering showers make way to cold conditions; sunshine + warming trend follows.

The back edge of the rain should move out of the region over the next couple of hours. This will leave mostly cloudy skies and northwest winds around 10 mph, gusting to 20 mph the rest of the day. Temperatures will remain chilly and around 35°. Add the wind and it’s downright cold.

Mostly cloudy skies are expected overnight as lows drop to around 20°. With the cloud cover, models seem to like the low being around 24°, so we’ll see what happens.

Nice Thursday

High pressure will center over the region on Thursday. This will lead to fair conditions and mostly sunny skies. Winds will gradually shift out of the south, as highs top out in the mid 40s.

Light southerly flow will continue Thursday night as lows drop to around 30° under partly cloudy skies.

Super Nice Friday

High pressure will move to the east of the region on Friday, and a warm front will move through the region. This will strengthen the southerly flow and lead to quite a warm afternoon. Highs will top out in the upper 50s under mostly sunny skies!

Friday night will bring a chance of light rain to the region late. Lows will drop into the mid 40s.
