Quiet Thursday
Good chilly morning, south-central Kentucky! This morning is featuring temperatures in the low 20’s throughout the region and perhaps some very isolated patches of freezing fog in Logan and Butler counties where the clouds cleared out quickly last night, but it should be nothing to worry about as long as you head out with a coat.
High temperatures today will rebound into the low 40’s by the afternoon and will be accompanied by cloudless skies and light winds. This quiet weather is due to high pressure parked above us.
Beautiful Friday
Tomorrow will bring even better weather! The high temperatures will climb to the unseasonably warm upper 50’s with a southern 10-15 mph breeze ushering in a few clouds by the late afternoon, and I think this weather is pretty neat.
Fallen behind in your New Year’s fitness resolutions? Friday will be an awesome day to enjoy the great outdoors with a neature walk, or maybe even a run.
Cloudy, Rainy Weekend
Unfortunately, all good weather must eventually come to an end, and the southern winds that brought us warmer temperatures will draw moisture up from the Gulf of Mexico. This rain will create gloomy conditions over the whole state of Kentucky for Saturday and Sunday, so I recommend to plan some indoor activities.
The temperatures in this event are predicted to remain above freezing for this whole weekend in our region, so no need to acquire winter weather worries until Monday.
