Chilly Weekend Leads to Early Week Warm Up

Today – Mostly Cloudy – High 46° / Tonight – Mostly Cloudy – Low 35°

The cold front has pushed well to the east of the region and high pressure is beginning to settle back into the area. However, such a deep trough this time of year will produce extensive cloud cover, so expect mostly cloudy skies throughout the day. Highs will struggle to around 46°. It’s a good day to just stay inside and drink coffee!

Mostly cloudy skies will continue overnight as lows drop to around 35°. Patchy frost will be possible late Saturday night and into Sunday morning.

Sunday – Partly Cloudy – High 48° / Sun Night – Partly Cloudy – Low 39°

The trough will begin to pivot to the east of the region on Sunday. This will lead to a break up in cloud cover, leaving us with partly cloudy skies. Highs will still likely remain in the upper 40s thanks to northwest flow aloft and at the surface.

Partly cloudy skies will continue overnight as lows drop into the upper 30s.

Monday – Mostly Sunny – High 60° / Mon Night – Partly Cloudy – Low 39°

A broad area of low pressure to the north of the region will place the area in a weak warm sector on Monday. This means wind will turn a bit more from the southwest and advect warmer temperatures into the area. This combined with mostly sunny skies will lead to highs right around 60°.
