Getting Warm to Start the Week

The Headlines

Yesterday wasn’t fun, especially weather-wise. It clouded up for most of the afternoon and remained quite chilly, but luckily, warm temperatures are returning…well, somewhat warmer temperatures.

The Details

But those temperatures won’t be getting here today. We still remain behind the storm system that brought us the unpleasant weather to start the weekend.

Weather will moderate a bit for the day today, especially once the clouds begin to clear late in the morning. In the afternoon, we can expect slightly warmer and much sunnier conditions, especially compared to yesterday. Overnight, the clearing trend will continue, allowing temperatures to dip well into the 30s and increasing our potential for some Monday morning frost.

Today: A bit of frost to start off but otherwise decreasing clouds and a high near 46º. We’ll clear out overnight, upping the frost potential with a low of 35º.

  • Wake up: ⛅️ 34°
  • Lunch hour: 🌤 40°
  • Afternoon plans: 🌤 45°
  • Evening: 🌤 42°

We’ll start the work week on a similar note but with a hint of warm temperatures.

We’ll warm up a touch more tomorrow thanks to a week front moving through the area.

That weak warm front will help boost our temperatures some as winds turns southerly. Highs should just a touch under the 60º mark, a far cry from the windy cold from this weekend.

Muuuuch better. (Pivotal Weather)

The associated cold front should bring an end to the warmest of the warm temperatures with nothing more than a few clouds. Frost potential goes up once again tomorrow night as skies clear and we fall back into the 30s once again.

Tomorrow: A frosty morning leads to mostly sunny skies and a high around 58º. Under mostly sunny skies, we’ll cool back to a nighttime low of around 35º with some patchy frost possible.

  • Wake up: 🌤 35°
  • Lunch hour: 🌤 49°
  • Afternoon plans: 🌤 58°
  • Evening: 🌤 48°

After that? Happy Halloween!

You bet. (Giphy/KXVO)

After a chilly start, we should rebound nicely into the mid-50s as mostly sunny skies stay overhead. Trick-or-treating looks dry but a bit chilly, falling back into the upper-40s as the sun goes down.

🎃👻Halloween BOO-sday👻🎃: After some patchy frost to start, we’ll see mostly sunny skies and a high near 55º. Clouds on the increase during the evening, but we remain dry until very late with a low near 40º.

  • Wake up: 🌤 38°
  • Lunch hour: 🌤 45°
  • Dressing up: 🌤 53°
  • Trick-or-treating: ☁️ 47°

Clouds on the increase late Tuesday night, however, as the next rain chance looms on the horizon.

Alright, maybe not inter dimensional threat…but mid-week does look wet. (Giphy/Netflix)

The Bottomline

  • The sun returns to close out the weekend, but Sunday remains cool.
  • After some frost, warm temperatures make somewhat of a return for Monday.
  • Trick-or-treating looks dry but cool on Tuesday night.
