Pretty Much Perfect Weather to End the Week

wxornotBG, 10/11/2017: A passing cold front brings much cooler conditions and cloud cover.

Today – Mostly cloudy -> Partly Cloudy – High 65° / Tonight – Partly Cloudy – Low 54°

As of this writing, the last remaining isolated showers are pushing through the region. A few isolated showers may impact the eastern parts of the region. However, we should dry out nicely, leading to a fairly nice day.

Mostly cloudy skies will slowly give way to partly cloudy skies as the cold front moves well to the east of the region and high pressure begins to move in. Northwesterly winds around 10 mph, combined with cloudy skies most of the day will lead to highs around 65° for most of the Ohio Valley. The HRRR shows this perfectly:

Partly cloudy skies will continue overnight as lows drop to around 54°. Patchy fog will be possible overnight.

Thursday – Partly Cloudy – High 70° / Thur Night – Partly Cloudy – Low 53°

We’ll wake up to foggy conditions across the region. However, after the fog clears we’ll be left with a nice day across the region. High pressure will lead to partly cloudy skies with highs right around 70°. That’s pretty much perfect weather in my opinion!

Partly cloudy skies will continue overnight as lows drop into the low to mid 50s. Patchy fog will once again be possible.

Friday – Mostly Sunny – High 76° / Fri Night – Mostly Clear – Low 57°

We’ll be between weather systems on Friday. However, that means we’ll still be under the influence of high pressure to the east of the region. As such, expect mostly sunny skies with highs in the mid 70s. Once again, pretty much perfect weather, especially for some golf!

Mostly clear skies are likely overnight as lows drop back into the mid to upper 50s.

That should wrap up this forecast. Be sure to follow @wxornotBG and @WKUweather for the latest Bowling Green weather information. Have a great hump day!
