Summer-Like Unsettled Weather This Week

The Headline

Happy Monday! I hope everyone was able to enjoy the warm and sunny weekend we saw across South Central Kentucky. It sure felt a lot more like summer than September.

If you’re itching for the fall season to start (like myself) you’ll have to deal with these summer-like conditions for a bit longer unfortunately.

I know that’s a hard pill to swallow, but don’t shoot the messenger. As you’re heading out the door this morning, you probably want to give yourself a few extra minutes to get out the door. We’re dealing with some patchy fog in some areas as seen from our White Squirrel Weather Cam that could cause a few delays on roadways.

If you are one of the few folks who actually enjoyed this weekend’s weather, you’re in luck! We’re essentially going to see more of the same – warm temperatures with plenty of sunshine. I wouldn’t be surprised if a few folks saw a small isolated downpour this afternoon as well. These will die off by sunset.

Our rain chances begin to pick up as we head into tomorrow and Wednesday. Warm, humid, and unsettled weather makes it’s way into the region. Do expect some isolated and scattered showers and thunderstorms heading into tomorrow and the middle portions of this week.
