The Headline
Hey folks! Hope everyone is having a great weekend here in southern KY! The weather has been quite beautiful recently, even if it has been summer-like.
We have been under the influence of a weak ridge that has built into the region since Thursday afternoon.
This has allowed temps to warm up quite a bit, and allowed for mostly sunny skies. It was perfect for tailgating yesterday, or whatever Saturday afternoon activity you prefer.
This weather is looking to stick around for a few days. The ridge doesn’t look to budge much between now and Wednesday, and even then, it doesn’t look to.
We will likely have a weak disturbance move our way by Tuesday afternoon, though, which may act to give us a few storms. Nothing big, so don’t expect a break in the summer-like monotony.
As a side note: I am just a bit bummed about this warm up, as I am not a fan of summer. I was just starting to get used to wearing long sleeves and actually enjoying the outdoors. But now, it is hot again.
Oh well! It isn’t too bad. Temperatures during the next three days will be fairly similar. Expect mid 80s for highs, and generally partly cloudy skies.

Well, that is all I have for y’all! Have a fantastic Sunday, and be sure to follow @wxornotBG on Twitter and like Landon Hampton on Facebook for the latest weather information.
