Good morning, everybody! I hope y’all are having a great start to your day. Luckily, the weather looks like it’s going to cooperate with us today by making it sunny with little to no rain! But…..dewpoints are going to be in the upper 60’s/around 70 today. Yikes! That means it’s gonna feel kinda gross…

Headlining Weather
Via WPC Surface Analysis, valid today 7am – Saturday 7am
There is an area of low pressure moving east into the Great Lakes region. This low pressure system will drag a weak cold front across our area tomorrow night, introducing chances for showers and thunderstorms into the mix. However, there could be some upper-level disturbances moving through today and part of tomorrow before this cold front makes it to our neck of the woods.
Via COD Meteorology Simulated Reflectivity, valid today
So, today the majority of us won’t get wet, as the rain looks to stay east of the I-65 corridor. Tomorrow and Saturday, rain chances will increase as the cold front works its way into and through our area Friday night and into our Saturday. The good thing: none of these storms look severe, just some rumbles of thunder and heavy rain.
Via COD Meteorology Simulated Reflectivity, valid Friday/Saturday
For Saturday and Sunday, once this cold front moves through our area, we still won’t quite be done with the rain showers. Again, more disturbances look to move through, causing pop-up showers and thunderstorms. None of these storms will be severe or widespread – they’re more annoying than anything else!
