Today – Partly Cloudy – High 75° / Tonight – Mostly Cloudy – Low 56°
A nice Monday is shaping up across the region. Surface high pressure should keep any precipitation out of the region today. Partly cloudy skies may develop throughout the day as highs top out around 75°. That’s a pretty good rebound from temperatures in the mid 50s overnight. Overall, a very nice day is in store!
Mostly cloudy skies may develop overnight. Lows will drop into the mid 50s once again.
Tuesday – Mostly Cloudy – High 78° / Tues Night – Showers and Storms – Low 60°
A bit strong divergence and southwest flow will be in place across the region on Tuesday. This will lead to a few more clouds and slightly warmer temperatures. Highs should reach the mid to upper 70s under mostly cloudy conditions by the afternoon hours.
Showers and thunderstorms should move into the region during the evening and overnight hours. No severe weather is expected at this time. Lows will hover right around 60°.
Wednesday – Light Showers Possible – High 68° / Isolated Showers – Low 53°
After some heavy rain and thunderstorms during the morning hours, on and off light rain will be possible throughout the day. I have a hunch that this could be my least favorite type of rain: “Say it, don’t spray it” rain, which is essentially an aggressive mist. This, combined with northwest flow, will lead to temperatures topping out in the upper 60s. Just a “bleh” day overall.
Isolated showers will continue overnight before mostly cloudy skies settle in. Lows should drop down to around 53°.
That should wrap up this forecast. Be sure to follow @wxornotBG and @WKUweather for the latest Bowling Green weather information. Also be sure to check out Landon Hampton on Facebook for the latest weather vlogs. Have a great Monday!
