Good morning, Bowling Green! Is this weather beautiful or what? I know it may feel a bit chilly for some, but it sure beats the heat we’ve been having! Anyway, According to the NWS Daily Climate Report, Bowling Green had a high of 71 degrees yesterday. The more awesome news is that these nice, fall temperatures are sticking around for a while!

Loop of the short range forecasts

This forecast is going to be short and sweet today. High pressure is now controlling our weather, allowing us to have sunny skies and dry weather. This high pressure is expected to last into next week, so we shouldn’t have to worry about rain over the weekend.

As far as temperatures go, highs will be in the upper 60’s today which is a little bit cooler than yesterday due to little atmospheric mixing.  Lows for tonight will be in the low 40’s. For tomorrow and Monday, highs will be in the upper 60’s to low 70’s under sunny skies. Lows will gradually be getting a few degrees warmer, but will remain in the 40’s overnight. Any way you look at it, this weekend will be beautiful!

Extended Outlook

High pressure and subsequent beautiful weather should continue into mid-next week, with highs gradually increasing to the mid 70’s. It looks as though another disturbance may be coming through next week, but the timing is a little unclear right now. So, stay tuned for next week’s weather. Either way, this weekend is going to be gorgeous, so please get outside and enjoy it!
