Even More Mild Bowling Green Weather

Real-Time Bowling Green Weather Radar

Yesterday’s Weather

Eh. Yesterday, a cold front moved through the region, bringing with it a few showers and some (temporarily) cooler temperatures. By “a few showers” I mean a very few…in fact, Bowling Green only got 0.01″ of rain. The front didn’t do much for temperatures…it cooled from near 70ºF to about 60ºF in 7 hours only for the afternoon high to top out around 70ºF again. Some more of that on the way as well.

Yes, that’s right…you’ve boarded a train to Snoozeville once again. After the front of Thursday morning moved through, that puts us squarely under the influence of yet another ridge of high pressure. Under that area, it’ll *sigh* yes warm up to almost summerlike levels…yet again.

Yep, today is going to be a pretty nice day. Thanks to the rain of yesterday, the potential is there for a little bit of fog, but it should burn off quickly as the sun comes up. Temperatures will remain in the fall-like range for today but this weekend it’s really gonna warm up. After a relatively cool start on Saturday, the winds are going to shift to the southwest and, well…

…yeah. That trend is going to continue into the day on Sunday as the high pressure continues to exert its control and kick up those southwest winds, resulting in a day almost identical to Saturday.

I mean, if you like warm weather you’re going to love this weekend, but if you’re like me and want some actual fall-like weather that sticks around, you just want this pattern to change already. Well…

Extended Outlook

SPOILER ALERT: It’s gonna stay warmer than usual. This pattern looks keep us threatening to break record highs through at least the middle of next week. At this point, the potential is there for more rainy weather with the next storm system late next week but that’s still a bit fuzzy. In the meantime, enjoy the mild weather!
