Very, Very Boring Bowling Green Weather

Real time Bowling Green Weather Radar

Yesterday’s Weather

Yesterday was a fairly beautiful day, but it was approaching the, “Come on, its almost November” temperature range. I’m getting sick of temperatures being in the mid 70s everyday. It is fall. If we’re gonna have mid 70s, it tends to lead to interesting weather at least. But you know what it does with this forecast? It leads to boredom.

Discussion

This forecast looks almost amazingly boring! So guess how we celebrate that? A GIF forecast!

I am so sad about it. I won’t get into the same rant that I did on Wednesday morning, but I would love to have a great low pressure system move through. That is just me, though.

I’m sure that the majority of you are actually enjoy the stretch we’ve been in the previous few days. The next few days look to be about the same, so get ready for some great, boring weather again!

The pattern looks to generally feature a fairly strong ridge across the region this afternoon, with surface southwesterly flow developing underneath of the strong ridge. This will allow for temperatures to rise pretty quickly this afternoon, and I think temps approach the record high of 86°F.

It’ll be mostly sunny this afternoon, as well, creating perfect weather to go outside and throw the football, or fish, etc.

By tomorrow, the ridge will still be present, but a weak trough will be moving into the region, and should move through by mid to late afternoon. This will act to usher in a new surface high pressure system, allowing for temps to cool off just a bit by Monday.

Gotta break out the shades because it'll be sunny on Monday. h/t giphy.com

Speaking of Monday, temps do look just a bit cooler behind the weak front, but a ridge should begin to build back in by Monday afternoon and evening, so there is a shot that highs end up higher than what I am forecasting right now.

Today’s Key Points:

  • Really boring weather last through midweek at least
  • Well above average temps look to continue
  • Will we ever see good rain? At some point, yes. Soon? No.
  • I really just want it to feel like fall. Hahaha.
