A very nice week in weather is shaping up for the next several days. A mid to upper level ridge will be moving into the region, bringing stable conditions with it. Today, a trough is exiting the region, bringing some northerly flow into the area. This will keep temperatures in check across the region. On Monday, a ridge begins to move into the area. This will lead to a large area of surface high pressure in the eastern United States. This will help keep conditions calm and stable across the region! Treat yourself to a day outside.
On Tuesday, a longwave trough will begin to take shape over the western United States. This will spread southwesterly flow across the region. This will help bring temperatures up a few degrees. Thus, high temperatures may be more in the mid to upper 70s as opposed to the low 70s. Overall, a great day is in store for Wednesday!
Extended Outlook
It looks like some showers may be possible on Wednesday night into Thursday as a cold front makes its way through the region. However, the front will not be so strong, so don’t expect much cooler temperatures in the forecast. It looks like another stellar weekend is coming up next week!
