Real-time Bowling Green Weather Radar

Forecast Discussion
What can I even say about this forecast? We haven’t seen weather this nice in…well a few weeks but still.
A trough that’s been moving through the plains this week, touching off a bit of autumn severe weather. That will slide to the northeast through the weekend and dragging a dry cold front through out area, putting us in a northwesterly flow. That will keep our temperatures in the seasonal category as opposed to the summer-like feel we’ve had since early last week.
I’ll be honest though, since we’ll be seeing full sunshine, I think those temperatures will be a bit warmer than what the model is saying but you get the general idea.
This idea is really not going to change for the duration of the forecast. Few clouds, full sunshine and wonderfully comfortable temperatures.
The weather on Sunday and Monday is going to be exactly the same. No really, sunny and 70ºF. Sure, it’s boring…but it’ll feel great!
Expect the cloudless conditions to persist in the overnights, allowing our temperatures to drop below that 50º mark, which is getting into fireplace territory. Nothing like going outside and getting a whiff of that burning wood. Nothing more fall-like than that.
Extended Outlook
Temperatures remain pleasant throughout the week, even gradually rising back towards that 75º mark. The sunny skies will continue temporarily but there’s a trough approaching in the later term that may re-introduce clouds and rain chances to the forecast. Bummer.
