An upper-level ridge will continue to hold over our region today and part of tomorrow. With this ridge come dry conditions, so we will continue to see mostly sunny/sunny skies with temperatures in the upper 80’s today and tomorrow.

The ridge that has been affecting our region was being amplified by a trough in the Midwest. Friday night, this trough will start to move eastward into our region, bringing a much needed cooldown. We could see increased rain chances Friday night; however, it doesn’t look like this frontal passage has much moisture as it moves through. At the very least, we will see increasing clouds with the cold front.

Saturday looks PERFECT!! With this frontal passage, highs will be right around 70 degrees under sunny skies. Combine the weather with college football and you’ve got yourself a fantastic Saturday!
Extended Outlook
It looks like we’ll see temperature start to climb Monday through at least the middle of the workweek. As far as any rain is concerned, it looks like we’re gonna stay dry over the next week. Unfortunately, we just can’t seem to keep those temperatures in the low 70’s like I want them to be!
