Real-time Bowling Green radar:
Today 4/22 – Mostly cloudy; chance of showers – High 72/Tonight – Clearing skies – Low 52
Good Morning, Bowling Green! A cold front moved through early this morning and some rain showers behind the front will stick around for part of today. An upper-level trough will deepen slightly before it moves off to the east allowing high pressure to settle over the region for the rest of the weekend.
As for today, expect clouds to linger and highs to be in the low 70s. Skies will start to clear overnight thanks to the approaching high pressure. The rest of the weekend is going to be absolutely perfect!
Saturday 4/23 – Sunny – High 73/ Saturday Night – Clear – Low 52
Gorgeous weather will be in store for Saturday and Sunday. Once the upper-level trough moves eastward, upper-level ridging and surface high pressure will take over.
You can count on sunny skies and highs in the mid-70s over much of southern Kentucky on Saturday.
Sunday 4/24 – Sunny – High 80/Sunday Night – Clear – Low 58
Sunday will be much warmer as winds become more southerly on the back side of the high pressure system. Highs could make it over 80° in some areas! This beautiful weather will continue into Monday, so take time to enjoy it because it looks like there may be rain chances increasing on Monday night.
Have a great weekend and continue to follow @WxOrNotBG for more updates!
