Good morning, Bowling Green! I hope everyone is having a great start to your Thursday morning. I know we’ve all enjoyed seeing the sun the past few days, but unfortunately we’re going to see a little less of it today and tomorrow, as rain enters back into the forecast.

A slow-moving and weak surface low pressure system will be moving through the region today. Rain will wrap around the center of low pressure, causing our region to see more off-and-on showers throughout the entire day. The bulk of the rain looks to occur during the morning and into the early afternoon. The rain looks to be heaviest in the western portion of the state. I would not expect any severe storms with this system, but there may a rumble or two of thunder throughout the day.

As far as temperatures go, highs today will drop into the low 70’s, and lows will be in the upper 50’s for the evening.
Friday – Slight Chance Showers – High 72˚ / Friday Night – Partly Cloudy – Low 50˚
An upper-level low will be moving through the Great Lakes area. Depending on how fast this system pushes through will affect how quickly the rain dissipates in our region on Friday. Right now, the models are looking like most of the rain will be gone by early afternoon. There could be a pop-up shower during the early evening hours, but I think the rain will be gone by that time. Bring an umbrella just in case, though.

Our temperatures have cooled down slightly with highs in the low 70’s, and lows in the low 50’s under partly cloudy skies. It will finally feel like spring again!

Saturday – Mostly Sunny – High 72˚ / Saturday Night – Mostly Clear – Low 51˚
After all this rain, it sure is nice to see that beautiful sun again! The first half of your weekend looks awesome with temperatures in the low to mid 70’s under mostly sunny skies. Lows for Saturday night will be in the low 50’s under mostly clear skies.
