“I Mean, You Can’t Beat This Weather” Continues

Today 4/17 – Beautiful; Partly Cloudy – High 81° / Tonight – Clear – Low 52°

Good Sunday morning Bowling Green! So, our string of pretty much perfect weather days will continue into early this week. An upper level ridge is located across the region, which is preventing an upper level low from interrupting our perfect weather. So, thank you upper level ridge!

Today, we’ll see some partly cloudy skies if some clouds to the west move in our direction. Otherwise, we’ll see quite a nice amount of sunshine. Weak southerly flow across the region will help bring high temperatures to around 81° in Bowling Green.

Tonight, conditions should be clear. This will allow lows to drop some thirty degrees to around 52°.

Monday 4/18 – Sunny; Kinda Hot – High 83° / Mon Night – Partly Cloudy – Low 56°

Monday, high pressure associated with the ridge will still be located to our southeast. This will provide us with some light southerly winds once again. This will help push temperatures up even more, into the “kinda hot” range for me. High temperatures during the afternoon will likely be around 83°. Nice day for riding a bike on campus for sure! Remember to bikepool too!

Partly cloudy skies may develop during the overnight hours as the ridge begins to break down some and moisture expands into the region. Lows will be in the mid 50s.

Tuesday 4/19 – Partly Cloudy – High 80° / Tues Night – Mostly Cloudy – Low 58°

Partly cloudy skies should continue into Tuesday as the upper level low continues to meander closer to the region. At the very least, this may overspread some upper level divergence across the region, leading to the formation of a few clouds. Highs will be around 80°. So close to swimming weather…

More clouds will form and move into the region during the overnight hours. This will help keep things relatively mild across the region overnight with lows in the upper 50s.
